Agriculture is an important pillar industry in Zambia's national economy. While corn is the main crop in the country, with an annual output value of about 18 percent of GDP. However, the domestic food processing infrastructure in Zambia is weak. As the main crop of Zambian residents, maize deep processing is still facing a huge gap, which is far from meeting the local market demand. At the same time, there is a serious shortage of electricity supply in Zambia, which is rich in solar energy resources and adequate in light, so it is very suitable for the construction of solar photovoltaic industrial projects.

The solar powered milling station is located in Lusaka and other areas of Zambia. There are a total of 2 maize milling plants with 30 tons of processing per day were used to carry out the overall planning and implementation in accordance with the design principle of combination of short-term demand and long-term development, combined with local geology, meteorological data and so on. Each milling plant covers an area of about 1.49 hectares. The proposed building of it mainly includes One seat for 30 tons of production plant, office building 1 seat, 1 unit for equipment, security room 1, also includes auxiliary roads. hardened ground, plant greening, walls, parking spaces, gates and other infrastructure.

The project has strong survivability and repayment ability, and it is financially feasible, and the social benefit of the project is enormous. After the completion of the project, it will become a model for Zambia to use solar energy for the development of small and medium-sized industries, and a new growth point for Zambian urban economy, which will not only promote the economic development of the urban areas, but also increase the income of the people. The living standard of the residents will have been improved.
